Mirra grew up in Hawaii; she has 9 brothers and sisters, 15 nieces, 10 nephews, 4 great nieces and 6 great nephews. Mirra has been a dancer for 15 years and has lived in Spain, Brazil, Aruba, Mexico and India. |
Credentials: Mirra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated from Naropa University in 2008 with a degree in Contemplative Psychology and Early Childhood Education. Mirra then went on to get a Masters of Social Work from the University of Denver. Mirra’s passion for relational work drove her to complete a post-masters certificate program at the Denver Family Institute. Mirra is trained in EMDR, CCP (Child-Parent Psychotherapy), PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy) and is also a PAIRS (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) trained professional. Mirra completed the DDP (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy) Level one training (28 hours) with Dan Hughes; an attachment focused treatment for childhood trauma and abuse. |
